Although I grew up in the era of films, my interest in photography began later, with the popularization of point-and-shoot digital cameras and with the rise of phones with cameras.

Coming from a humble background, photography was only used for special occasions, at least until the expansion of digital photography, of course. Having grown up in a rural area with nature as my “playground” in the Rio Grande do Sul province, Brazil, my interest in landscape photography makes perfect sense.

However, it wasn’t until 2016 that I decided to fully immerse myself in photography and acquire my first entry-level DSLR camera. The reason? Vacation trips. I wanted superior quality and, of course, more knowledge to capture places I would likely visit only once in my lifetime. From then on, the camera became my companion on every trip or outing, and watching video tutorials and studying photography became the focus of my free time.

In 2019, I came into contact with analog photography through a coworker. Impressed by the aesthetic and beauty, I decided to give it a try. I bought my first analog camera and fell in love. From there, I followed the path that many take: buying various types of films and cameras, shooting with medium format cameras, developing negatives at home, making analog prints, and so on.

In 2022, dissatisfied with the image quality when making my first prints, I decided to make an upgrade: I sold my old entry-level camera, which had accompanied me for 6 long years on various trips and opted for a higher-quality camera. And what a difference! In addition to all the perks of a more advanced camera, the ability to make large prints was a huge leap.

From then on, sharing my photos through this website and social media was the logical next step. I hope all visitors to this website can appreciate nature through my eyes, and I hope these photos can inspire people.
